Wherever you are based in the UK, you can benefit from our services by posting your knives directly to our workshop in Sheffield.

Start by downloading and printing the SKS sharpening form HERE. Please fill this in with as much information as possible and include it in the parcel with your knives.

It is very important that you package up your knives securely, so they do not get damaged in transit and do not cause any injuries to the courier! The best way to package your knives is to:

  • Wrap each blade individually with paper or cardboard. A cardboard sheath folded around the edge of the blade is best.

  • Wrap each knife in a tea towel or bubble wrap.

  • Pack the knives into a secure cardboard envelope or box. Fill any spare space in the parcel with paper or bubble wrap to stop the knives from moving around during transit.

Post your knives using a tracked service if possible. Be sure to check that the courier you use allows you to post knives as some do prohibit this. Our recommended services are:

  • Royal Mail. You can book postage online and have it collected from an address of your choosing and have it delivered directly to my workshop. Use the link here to book postage: https://send.royalmail.com/

  • UPS also offer a very reliable service. You can book postage online through the UPS website.

Once we receive your knives, you will receive an email with the final quote which will include the cost of return postage. We will only start work on your knives once the quote has been approved. An invoice will then be sent via email and your knives returned to you once we have received payment.

If you have any questions about any of the above, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

If you would like to send an email to let us know you are posting your knives, please do so HERE.
