This Chef is a super useful tool for the kitchen. It is perfect for most tasks in the kitchen, the do-it-all knife if you will. The steel is very hard and very thin so will perform beautifully and keep an edge for a long time as long as it is looked after properly. This is also stainless, so it will not patina like some of the other steel I use. Do not put in the dishwasher, though!
Again, do not put it in the dishwasher. Clean and dry after every use.
The cork strops we sell are the perfect tool for looking after the edges of these knives. I would recommend the Borachrome pre-loaded strop for this steel.
